We found our trip to Istanbul informative and entertaining. Transfers to and from the airport went smoothly and our hotels were good and centrally located. Our guides arrived on schedule and went to a great deal of trouble to look after our needs. Mr Michel Altan organised a contact for us in Istanbul, Ishan.and he was vey helpful with organising ballooning and folk dancing tours in Cappadocia. A wallet left on the bus was returned promptly with Ishan and Mehmets help. Thank you for a very enjoyable experience

Thank you to all the team at the TTC for an amazing 13 days touring Turkey in June 2014. I was not keen to do a large, organised bus tour of Turkey and stumbled upon TTC on TripAdvisor and was overwhelmed by the number of positive responses of their organisation. We booked the Turkeys Classics Plus Tour and were thrilled with every destination. We covered a large area in a short period of time, which involved a few flights but everything ran like clockwork. We didn't experience one setback, all flights were on time, no lost luggage, all transfers were on time and the drivers and guides were a delight. We never had more than 8 people travelling with us at one time. Each time we arrived at a destination we met a new group of travellers, a new driver and guide. Our last two days were spent in SE Turkey visiting Harran and Mt Nemrut, just the two of us on a 16 seater mini bus with our driver and guide - very personalised. We were picked up early one morning to catch a flight and missed the hotel's breakfast, our beautiful driver stopped enroute at a local cafe and ran inside and bought cimits and tea for the six passengers on board. Thank you for making our first, but not last, trip to Turkey a very memorable experience.

We used TTC for our arrangements in Turkey and one of the highlights was the day tour of Istanbul.

The walking tour included all the usual "must do" sights of this amazing city, but what made the tour so memorable was the excellent tour guide that accompanied us throughout the day. His knowledge, enthusiasm and love for Istanbul was clearly evident. His commentary really managed to bring alive the history of the place. The level of service and communication provided by Michael Altan and Ihsan Dincel at TTC was of the highest quality.

We enjoyed the whole experience so much. A wonderful country to travel in, it lived up to all our expectations.

It all ran like clockwork. The guides were great. We really appreciated their knowledge, and we particularly enjoyed our visit to Panakkule and Ephesus with Ali. (photo of Ali with Helen on left and Joan on right)

From my first contact with Michael till our last goodbye with Ishan I can not speak highly enough of the TTC. Our tailor made tour was perfect. Excellent, knowledgeable and passionate guides were on time to met us at every location, no request was ever too much trouble and always exceeded our expectation. Each hotel had it's own unique point of difference and customer service standard.We were never disappointed. I look forward forward to visiting Turkey again and TTC will be assisting me with all my travel plans.

Dear Michael,

I have arrived home from my excellent trip.

I wish to thank you very much for organising such a great itinerary. I was very impressed with the Hotel and the tour company you selected for me. The guide I had for my Istanbul City tours was fabulous, he had so much knowledge and was very pleasant and helpful.

We had a bit of a problem with some other tourists when we tried to board their bus as we had an elderly couple with us who had trouble walking distances. Our guide rang up his office and was able to get another bus to take us to our hotels. I want to compliment our guide on how he handled this unpleasant episode. All was well and I loved your city and country. I would love to go back some time.

We picked TTC after soliciting quotes from a few companies for our family to private tour Turkey. They were not the cheapest, but sounded the most professional and offered us a comprehensive package. Michael was very efficent and speaks/writes very well in Australian.

There were a few hiccups getting to the starting line with our complicated itinerary, such as not warning us when they were taking large payments from our credit card, and misinterpreting our requirements, but they have very good service available by phone and email (and face-to-face), and we ironed those out and got there.

The tour itself went well with very few hiccups. Transfers and guides were very good.

Having said this, they sub-contracted the majority of the tour to another company, Acetes, and it was those fellows that kept us on track and fixed those minor problems. Hands down, Acetes were fantastic!

We had a great tour and the guides were very patient with us (family party, youngest of age 3 and eldest with mobility restrictions). For Istanbul I would use TTC again. If it's out of Istanbul you're after, I highly recommend Acetes (in particular their Kusadasi office).
