We recently travelled to Turkey and spent 2 weeks touring the country. All of our accommodation, transfers and excursions were organised by Michael at Turkey Travel and we were extremely impressed with the service provided. Michael was quick to respond to any query and was professional at all times. The accommodation was excellent quality, in great locations with beautiful amenities. The included food was plentiful and delicious. The service providers in Turkey were wonderful. All spoke English very well and were knowledgeable in their area. When booking the trip I was expecting the normal tour group style organisation, however, this trip is actually a series of individual tours with guides from each local area. We had Mustafa in Istanbul, and he was fabulous. Then we had TJ in Gallipoli and the surrounding area and he was just a delight. So knowledgeable and passionate about sharing the Gallipoli story with us. We ended up having a private tour of the peninsular and TJ’s knowledge of the battles in this area was excellent. We had various other guides in each town and all were great. Our only disappointment was the weather in Cappadocia stopped our balloon flight, but this is not in any way a reflection on the service provided by Turkey Travel. We would highly recommend this company and the itinerary which took us to the places we had on our bucket list, with enough time to see all the main sites. Such a great trip!
